Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Cor. 15:58

day 186: Angels Sing

Luke 2:13-14
Suddenly, the angel was joined by a vast host of others-- the armies of heaven-- praising God and saying,
"Glory to God in the Highest heaven,
and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased"

******************

Have you ever seen an angel?  I'm not sure if I have or not.  The other day, my middle daughter said, "Mama, there's a man outside." And there was...

But...

My husband was at work, and it was just me home with 3 little girls.  I was too scared to open the door, and the man left.

Afterwards, I prayed, "God, I hope that wasn't an angle."

I'm not avocating letting strange people in your house (and I have to admit, I'd probably do the same thing today).  The point is that we never really know where/who is an angel.

The angels in heaven can appear like these: bright, amazing, and beautiful. Or they can appear as regular, ordinary Joes just passing by.

Today's song is "Hark the Herold Angel Sing" by Carrie Underwood.

  1. The Bible says that many have entertained angels unaware. As far as I have know, I have never seen a angel, but ...

    Merry Christmas, Kelly! :)
