Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Cor. 15:58

day 169: Silver and Gold

Proverbs 2:3
The rich and the poor have this in common;
The lord made them both.

*******************

I really like this verse because sometimes we forget that the 'rich' people are just like 'us'. If someone has a little bit of fame or power or money, we place them in a category different from us.

But God made us all.  Rich, poor, fat, skinny, tall, short, shy, loud, etc....

If you think that being something 'else' will make you happy, don't.  In God's eyes we are all the same... so who cares what the world thinks?

Today's song "Silver and Gold" by Dolly Pardon. Not really a 'Christmas' song, but it does go along with Christmas.  The money you spend on presents doesn't matter... it's how you help, treat, and love others that does.

God Bless You,

Kelly
