Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Cor. 15:58

day 277: For the Young Mama's

Proverbs 14:4
Without oxen a stable stays clean,
but you need a strong ox for a large harvest.

***********

Ok, I'm going to admit something.... I cleaned my house Saturday. And do you know what happened on Sunday? It wasn't clean any more (le sigh!)

I know you all with small kids or grandkids (or dare I say even teenagers) can relate.

Nothing stays clean.

Ever.

BUT, I know how it could stay clean.

If it were just me  living here.

I could put everything in it's place and it never be moved--- just collect dust and never be used.

That's how it would be without my kids.

I'll take my kids over clutter any day. The clutter will always be here.... my kids won't always be this small.

Without them, my stable might be clean, but it would be very lonely.

God Bless You,
Kelly

  1. I'm a very organized person by heart but God has shown me that "clean" doesn't have to be "squeaky" all the time & void of those who make the mess. I wouldn't want that at all! I'd rather have my son's stinky socks lying around his room than to miss him so terribly. Thanks for sharing this post, it's a huge reminder from God.
