Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Cor. 15:58

day 223: Faith Without Seeing

2 Corinthians 5:6-7
So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight.

******

We don't have the privilage that the disciples had back in the day. We don't get to 'walk by sight'. We don't get to witness what they got to witness or the miracles they got to be a part of simply because they got to walk physically with Jesus.

All we have is our faith.

Anyone will believe something if they can see it. I believe the sky is blue because I can see it. I believe that three year olds are crabby crabs sometimes because I've lived it.

I wouldn't believe that a squirrel could waterski if I hadn't seen the video on you tube.

Faith is believing without seeing.

If you really really sit down and think about the Bible and Christianity, it doesn't make a lot of sense in our human eyes. We have lots of questions. That's why it takes faith in a God you can't see to do miracles-- and a lot of times those miracles deal with people's hearts (another thing we can't see).

Faith is believing your prayers will be answered (in some way) even if you don't see the 'person' answering them.

Have a great Sunday :)
God Bless You

~Kelly
