Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Cor. 15:58

day 217: Perfect Conditions

Ecclesiastes 11:4
If you wait for perfect conditions, you will never get anything done.

***********

I LOVE this verse!

In fact, if you go to my other blog, www.ohthatmomagain.blogspot.com it is on my side bar.

There will never be a 'perfect' time to start something. Things will come up, kids will get sick, it will rain, you will get sick, you can't find the time... *something* will happen that will make you not want to start something.

Those things are to be expected.

But don't let that keep you from starting something-- and especially something for God.

If you are waiting for the perfect time to start being a layspeaker, or a Sunday School teacher, or even reading the Bible completely, setting aside a few minutes a day for reading, becoming a preacher--- *whatever* it is, start the process now.  If it isn't supposed to happen now, it won't, but at least you know you tried.

Don't use *but it's not the right time... I have too much to do* as an excuse.

God Bless You

~Kelly
