Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Cor. 15:58

day 245: 10 Commandments (the Eighth)

Deuteronomy 5:19
You must not steal.

***************************

Personally, I think this is one of the easiest commandments to follow.

Don't steal.

Got it.

I guess we should just talk about exactly what stealing is:

*Not paying for something at the store (intentionally)

*Not paying for something at the store (unintentionally-- but not going inside to pay for it.... I've done that once.. felt bad for it too)

*Taking office supplies at work and using them at home.

*Using someone else's wireless internet connection as your primary one.

*Stealing cable/satellite programming.

*Buying a pirated movie/music

*And I'm sure there are lots, lots more.

What can you think of as stealing?

God Bless You,
~Kelly

  1. Hi Kelly - great point. Lots of things we as people do could probably cross that boundary. Great reminder
