Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Cor. 15:58

day 101: Trusting and Endurance

Revelations 14:12
This means that God's holy people must endure persecution patiently, obeying his commands and maintaining their faith in Jesus.

*********************************

Ah, Patience... that mose awesome of virtues.  Not easy at all.

It is so easy to get discouraged.  It's easy to see the way things are around us-- the world-- and start to lose faith.

But, the good news is that we know the ending of this 'story'.  We know how it is going to end.  And it ends with God winning.

No matter what we go through in life, it is nothing compared to what God/Jesus has gone through.  When we have bad days (and yeah, I know a thing or two about those lol), we know that we dust ourselves off, obey God's commands, and keep our faith in Jesus because, ultimately, in the end, that's all that matters.

The secret to enduring (according to my study Bible) is having trust in God, and obedience in His word.

If we put our trust in God, even the small persecutions won't bother us because we know that 1) It is all for God. 2) God is in control of everything--- even those who don't know they are being controled by Him.

Patience is hard.  But when we put our faith in God, it becomes easier.

God Bless You!

Kelly
