Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Cor. 15:58

day 318: But... I go to Church!

Matthew 3:8-9
Prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins an turned to God. Don't just say to each other, 'We're safe, for we are descendants of Abraham.'
That means nothing, for I tell you, God can create children of Abraham from these very stones.

*****************************
Going to church doesn't make a Christian any more than owning a notebook makes you an author.

There are lots and lots of church people who don't make it to Heaven (man, I sound like a downer today--)

Sometimes, we church-goers get a false sense of security. We go to church an hour or two a week-- we must be ok, right?

Not necessarily.

Have you given your heart to God? Have to accepted Jesus as your savior? If you haven't, you are walking a very thin line. Don't let the fact that you are 'good' or a 'church-goer' keep you from Heaven.

God Bless You,

Kelly
