Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Cor. 15:58

Day 25: You are an Encouragement!

1 Thessalonians 5:9-11-- For God chose to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ, not to pour out his anger on us.  Christ died for us so that whether we are dead or alive when He returns, we can live with him forever.
So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.

******************

This entire blog is built on encouragement. I mean, its even in the title (the really, really, really long title!)

We, as Christians, have a responsibility to encourage each other.  Now, you don't have to be a preacher or a song leader or a teacher to encourage others. Your pressence... Your Pressence... encourages.

A preacher can't preach to an empty  house.

A song leader can't lead a choir if there are no members.

A Sunday School teacher can't teach a class without participants.

Everytime you enter a church (or enter a blog) you are an encouragement.

Doesn't that make you feel good?!?

YOU, just be being you, encourage!

Encouragement comes in many forms.  What ways are you encouraging others (and trust me, you are, even if you don't realize it)?  Lets be an encouragement to each other. Lets lift each other up! :)

God Bless You!!!

  3. Kelly, your blog is an encouragement to me. A smile and kind word can mean the world to someone. Thanks for encouraging us to be an encouragement.

  4. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Like I said, 'Encouragement' :) A smile is an awesome encouragement. There is so much negativity in the world (and yeah, I'm not perfect here... I so hard my negative times)... but lets add some positive out there :) Lets encourage rather than discourage :)
