Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Cor. 15:58

Day 39: Tomorrow.... Tomorrow....

Proverbs 27:1~Don't brag about tomorrow since you don't know what the day will bring.

*******************

(This was written on July 11th...)

My oldest daughter is excited.  Tomorrow is her birthday!  She will be 6.

The excitement around here is massive. It's party-pooluza!  And to say she's looking forward to it is an understatement.

We are all like that in one form or another... and we SHOULD get excited about what the future holds.

However......

(not to be a downer..)

How do we know tomorrow will come?

Truthfully, we don't.

The Bible says not to brag about tomorrow. Instead we should rejoice and be happy in the now. It seems we are always planning for the future.  For the things we want.  The things we want to do.

Planning..

Always planning...

And planning can be good-- as long as we are as excited about the NOW as we are about whatever we are planning for.

Don't tell people you are going to be a great writer in 5 years-- You don't know that.

Instead, have your dreams-- have your plans (I do), but realize that things might not turn out the way you plan... and be HAPPY with what you have now.

Lets be happy with today--- and let the future worry about itself.

God Bless You!

Kelly
