Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Cor. 15:58

Which Way to Go?

You have two paths (or even more). Both will get you to the end result you possibly want, but only one way is the way God wants you to go. Being human, you can't figure that out on your own. You can only see a small portion of a 'possible' future. God sees the absolute future and knows which path to take to get there.

So when you are faced with a decision, remember this:

Your own ears will hear him.
Right behind you a voice will say,
"This is the way you should go,"
whether to the right or to the left.
(Isaiah 30:21)

  1. Maybe there really are only 2 paths - God's path and the one we think might be better than God's.

Of course, sometimes it's easy to miss the right path because we are so distracted by all the other options and all the other voices whispering in our ears.

Only time spent alone with God will help us to recognize His voice more so that we aren't easily fooled.

Thanks for sharing this, Kelly - it's something I need to ponder for a little while.

  2. Thank you! This is an inspiring post.
