Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Cor. 15:58

Day 63: Over-whelmed

Psalm 142:3
When I am overwhelmed, you alone know thew way I should turn....

**************

I'm writing this tonight after a very long day.  I will have more about it over at Oh that Mom Again for Brag on God Friday.

However, after I got home, and the kids went to bed... I started feeling overwhelmed.

I do at times.... get overwhelmed.  My kids are getting older, and the challenges are getting tougher.  A booboo I can fix... a broken heart I can't.

So yeah, it was a bit amazing to me when I sat down to write this '365' and opened up to this verse on being overwhelmed.

Sure, its in a different context to David, but it does mean something to me.

God knows which way I should go and I should pray daily (more than daily even) about the paths I need to take especially when it comes to raising my girls.

God knows when we feel overwhelmed. Lots of things can be overwhelming: parenting, illness, job, home, etc.  But we should take comfort that no matter what, God is with us... helping us.... guiding us.

God Bless You!

Kelly
