day 302: Telling the Whole Earth

1 Chronicles 16:23-27

Let the whole earth sing to the Lord!

Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.

Publish his glorious deeds among the nations.

Tell everyone about the amazing things he does.

When I read this verse, I immediately thought of blogging (weird? Maybe, but stay with me).

*Let the whole earth sing to the Lord!

I have 'met' bloggers from all over the world though blogging. Blogs from all over the earth sing praises (ie tell others) about God

*Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.

Lots of blogs (like this one) are daily blogs. Even if yours isn't, you still proclaim the good news!

*Publish his glorious deeds among the nations.

When you hit the 'publish' button, you are spreading God's word to the world. You might not think you are-- you are simply in your house after all-- but your words are shot all over the world to anyone who wants to access them. That is a great responsibility! We have to be careful what we say.

*Tell everyone about the amazing things he does.
