Ecclesiastes 11:4
If you wait for perfect conditions, you will never get anything done.

I've written on this before, and if God wants it, I write on it again. I love this verse. It's actually one of my favorites in the Bible.
If you want for things to get perfect, you won't get anything accomplished-- because that will never happen.
Something will always be there to block you.
*Maybe you have small kids and don't think you have time to do what the Lord wants you to do--
*Maybe you are extremely busy with work
*Maybe the cleaning never seems to get done.
*Maybe you had a very sinful past
*Maybe you have really low self-esteem
*Maybe you are waiting for that 'sign' to happen before you start.
All of those things can keep you from your getting 'done' or even started.
If God had told you to do something, don't make excuses for why you can't. He's God, He knows what's going on in your life-- and He STILL chose you to do it.
That is an amazing pat on the back! God thinks you are so strong/awesome/terrific/great/ that HE CHOSE YOU to do it!
He knows you can do it! Don't let others (including yourself) tell you that you can't.
