Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Cor. 15:58

day 108: How is Life Measured?

Luke 12:15
Then he said, "Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own."

*****************************

I like that last part.  Life is not measured by how much you own.

If my life was measured by how much (and the quality) of material things I owned-- well, it wouldn't be worth much lol.

I'd hate to know that God would measure my life based on my 'things'.

Thank God that He doesn't though!

Life is measured by how much love you have.....

How much love you have spread....

How much you have done for God....

Life is measured by how you LIVED it--- not by the things you bought with it.

When you are in the funeral home, will people say you helped those in need--- or that you had a giant, beautiful home?

Will they say that you knew God-- or that you had more cars (and expensive ones at that) than people at your house?

That's not saying that a rich person can't be a good person.  They absolutely can. But whether you have $10,000,000 or $10-- it doesn't matter to God.  It's how you live your life that matters.

I like that :)

God Bless You :)
