day 284: Yeast and Dough

Galatians 5:9

This false teaching is like a little yeast that spreads through the whole batch of dough!

This reminds me of rumors... and rumors spreading out through the church.

Rumors start out as little, tiny things-- little yeasts.  That spread like wildfire... and that affects the entire dough-- the church.

A false teaching can do the same thing.

Little, tiny things can take down big structures. A lion can be taken down by a thorn. A tiny virus can knock you down for days.

So can a rumor in a church, and in your daily life.

Watch out for rumors... don't let your dough be ruined.
